The House of Jacob shall possess their possessions (Obadiah17)
And when Joshua had let the people go, the children of Israel went every man unto his inheritance to possess the land (Judges 2;6)

Through sin and unbelief we can miss our finest day. Many souls are greatly impoverished because they do not comprehend or even believe that the Good Lord wants them to inherit the treasures of life. Neither Gods word nor Gods world is bankrupt God has an ever increasing abundance of all things spiritual and physical at his disposal and ready for our enjoyment

The Believers life is not just a renunciation but it is also an acquisition. An acquiring of all good things in Christ Jesus and from Christ the Lord. There are plenty of nobodies in this world and millions of beggars. the business of life is to discover what's yours from Christ, too many live the impoverished life when they should be living the blessed life, the abundant life the more than enough life. your talents are not luxuries they are tools, your gifts are not yours to keep but yours to give away.

Do not be satisfied with past achievement, now rise up and invest what you know and what you own into the lives of others. 

The Prodical Son, when he returned to his Fathers house was satisfied to serve in the kitchen, we forget that his fathers desire was for him to own the kitchen. Let's not measure our wealth by the culture or the community around us, your wealth, only Christ can measure. The Father wanted him to wear the best robe not the kitchen robe, so many want to sit aside and let others dine at the table. the same is true of preachers in our land who are content in their calling yet fail to see that the Lord has called them to be possessors of land and buildings. pastors of movements and revivals. teachers of awakenings and shakings not just Wednesday night bible class. Some even think its their duty to be poor and look holy. The puritans Fathers in New England were nearly starved to death the first winter yes even with all America behind them they were in the land of more than enough yet did not possess it.

Don't be ashamed of going for the Big Thing God himself has assigned to you. Our Big world needs big people with big hearts, big faith and big vision to tackle life in our big society. Doing big things is not a sin, but doing small things when God has called us to Big things most certainly is. God is big enough are you?

This coming year we must have the vision of God and the wealth of God too. Its not a sin to have much but it is a failure on our part to live with little when God has provided so much for us. to do the greater works we have to have a healthy outlook on Gods provision, we have to see wealth as God sees it, we have to realise that poverty is a killer. No Man can preach the gospel to the world with nothing, no one is blessed when we are broke. God owns is all and of he owns it all and we call him holy then surely we can own a bit of it and be called righteous too.

Let's see our role and ministry as God sees it, he is bigger than our comprehension of scripture, our faith is far bigger than our understanding of things. Our religion in far wider than our denominational boundaries. There is nothing too great you can attempt. God is big enough, are you!

THIS IS YOUR YEAR, DARE GREAT THINGS, EXPECT GREAT THINGS.

The Works of the Lord

Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. 2The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. 3His work is honourable and glorious and his righteousness endureth for ever. 4He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion. 5He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant. 6He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.   (PSALM 111:1-6).

What is Faith in God. It is the belief that I can better my life, nay change it or should i say exchange it for that which is far greater than I as a human being could ever experience had I lived a life without God himself. All the great things of such a life a divine life as I call it are hidden, 'The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein' everything of true value of the mind, the moral and intellectual are hidden and have to be searched out through a union with CHRIST and his God.

Hidden things, Life itself is hidden, the new man in Christ has a life hidden in Christ, Christ has a life where treasures of the divine are hidden in him, the truth of who God is, hidden in Christ, the truth of who we are hidden in Christ. and it is in him our peace is hidden our hopes are hidden our potential and prosperity is hidden, our gifting and destiny. 

The believer is a treasure hunter, a Gold hunter, The Aussie God hunters those in the Outback of Australia have their mind set on the discovery of God and its through a variety of mining techniques that they mine for the gold. Through, isolation,  heartbreak and ultimate resurrection they make their find knowing that just one discovery could change their lives forever.

Has God no less treasure in his Person and his word! Should not our pursuit of the divine be as engaging as it is the Aussie hunter who seeks earthly treasure? What if you could find written in his book your life as did Josiah. What if you, now going astray were to find your divine destiny in it's pages what if you whose life seems wasted and empty were to find life words direction for your soul within its pages, what if you who knew no peace or joy were to find eternal rested and forgiveness for your sins with God, is it not worth the hunt, the investigation, the time to seek the word with sincerity and interest.

The works of the Lord are great sought out by all who have pleasure therein. All the treasures, yes treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hid in Jesus Christ, that's even a goldmine of know how for the entrepreneur the business man. that's who God is, you too can know his secrets and discover his help, his wisdom and his mind. Why because he is ever mindful of his covenant (v5) his covenant between us.

Happy CHRISTMAS

 

A Happy Christmas to you my friend.

And suddenly there appeared with the angel a great multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying:  “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favour rests!” When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”… (Luke 2;13-15).

Christmas is a family time a time for the kids and a time for relaxing and well, just taking it easy.
During my childhood days I found Christmas to be a time of great excitement, one because it was holiday time, no school, secondly it was a time of giving and receiving gifts and thirdly it was a time of snow (well sometimes anyway). Our home was a happy home, we had little, but we had much! the things we have of true value was our family time together around the Christmas table and later around the log fire listening to records or the radio. we had no distractions like our Iphones or internet those days, everything we done was meaningful. Quality times together

When Jesus was born, it was a family time too, In fact his birth was to unite the family on earth together in peace. When the angel of the Lord came announcing peace on earth, the angel was announcing the coming of peace himself! The Lord. Peace is here on earth.

Without him the prince of peace no one can have such peace. No one can have peace because peace is not a state of being without strife or war, peace is a person, further, Peace is not possible among men without Jesus, for he himself said 'in this world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world.' When Jesus comes into the human heart, peace is formed. No wonder then the angel declared. 'peace on earth good will to all men.'

Its by no accident that Herod was troubled at the birth of Jesus in fact he was so troubled that he ordered his armies to kill, yes kill all young children in the hope that he would destroy the child Jesus in the onslaught. Trouble often accompanies those whose seek peace. The destroyers of peace, Christ and Christianity are ever present. Chaos surrounds the peaceful yet the story is a reminder that peace prevails and wins no matter what surrounds it. Those that come to worship him at this time when others focus on the troubles, win and find eternal peace.

May the gift of peace visit you this season. Christmas is a family time and what better time than now to be at peace with one another. and find rest in your soul too. May this time be a time of happiness, fun, rest and unity. A family time.

IF God is BLESSED why are you BROKE?

 

What Father would live lavishly and be happy to see his sons and daughters live in poverty?
Think of it. God owns it all has it all and can give it all. He lacks nothing and does not have to pray to another to help him pay his bills. He owns it all.
Yes he owns it all yet we call him 'HOLY' Now he can't be holy and stingy but he can be holy and own it all. yet how come we have problems with prosperity if the God the one we claim to love, serve, imitate and follow owns it all, sure we may criticise the wealthy especially if they preach for a living! But really! If its a sin to be rich then how come we call God 'Holy'. If his name is Holy then it must be OK to be rich! 

BLESSED be thou Lord God of Israel our Father, for ever and ever. Thine O LORD is the greatness and the power and the majesty. FOR ALL THAT IS IN THE HEAVEN AND EARTH is Thine. Thine is the kingdom, O LORD and thou art exalted as head above it all (1 Chron 29:10,11)

          We need a revelation of God in order to have a true and healthy perspective of wealth. As we see him we can see ourselves. If you think money corrupts then read again my sentence, as we see him we can see ourselves. He has it all to distribute, to bless, to help others. He's super generous and is willing to mentor others to become like him  

Thou shalt remember the LORD thy God for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth (acquire, produce create harvest wealth (Deut 8;18).

If you want to help others or ....help yourself, take on God's idea, yes God's idea of wealth, you be able to bless others and live blessed yourself. As our Heavenly father he does not give us stones but seed. )Matt 7:8-10) yes seed for our harvest, that's a responsible Father is it not! He's not up there living it up while you're down here playing it all down.

If you think being broke is Holy then let me ask you how many missionaries can you support while you're broke, How far into Gods world can you go to preach the gospel? What poor folks do you help in your city town or neighbourhood?

God wants you rich. so that you like him can bless others with your harvest and have enough yourself to live the Abundant life. after all you are a son, are you not?

5 Steps to Keep on the Edge

 

With millions of networks and clients and competitors out there, take your confidence and super-charge it with these thoughts.

1. Take time to build. Time spend on your One Great Idea that separates you from your competitors. What's your unique offering. What can you offer that others don't?

2.  Build people as you build your Network. Building your company of one is essential to arriving at your company network of 1001. Your investment is not only financial, its people. Without your investment into the minds of others with your unique core solutions and ideas, you have no investment or future either

3. Always have an Idea in development. Ideas make a man come alive. You're only as "one fire" as your idea. If my idea don't keep me awake at night thinking about it, I leave it. Take your passion and make that your mission. It keep you awake in the day too.

4. Keep learning. In my network (which is new) I have the motto: "Everyman a leader, everyman a student." In motivating others don't neglect your own personal growth. Find leaders who inspire you and light your fire too. connect to them befriend them and ask them to mentor you. Yes, mentors are learners too.

5. Give yourself a daily Heroes Welcome. Look in the mirror every day and say. "Wow, todays my day, I'm a shifter and leader. I stand out in the crowd and stand up in my place. Today I lead." Here goes now make it happen.

The season of New Beginnings for YOU

And there were shepherds residing in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks by night. 9Just then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid! For behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people: 11Today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord! 12And this will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”13And suddenly there appeared with the angel a great multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying:14“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favour rests!” (Luke 2;2-14).

New seasons start with the Lord the moment his angel declares a thing. 'Thou shalt declare a decree a thing and it shall be established unto thee.' (Job 22;28)

It's amazing to know that at the same time heaven mad a 'decree' so too the enemies of the Lord set about to make their decrees. Ceaser Agustus made a decree (Luke 2;1-52), the decree from the LORD was of peace to all men, the decree from the Ceaser, the earthly lord was that all of the world should be taxed. The ememy decree will bring bondage and heartache struggle and debt yet the Lord's decree brings peace a new birth and a new deliverance with it. The enemy brough bad news, the angel of the Lord brough 'Good tidings of great Joy' (Luke 2:4-14).

This new season the world is saying 'fear, fear, fear!' But God says be at peace, 'for unto YOU is born THIS DAY in the city of DAVID A Saviour Which is Christ the LORD.'

A 'Savior' has been born to us, a deliverer a way maker. Yes, born to us. do we really know who this deliverer is? first he is born to us. he is my deliverer! He was not born to God, God did not need a son, He was born to us, man needed a son, a son who was God in the flesh, called Son because he was born to a woman, (Mankind) of flesh. Yet was also God Incarnate. The Son was given to us, unto US a child is born unto US a son is given (Isaiah 9:6). This tells me we should never be alone, we should never be without hope, we should never be without love, for this is what God is!

The Christ that was born brought the advent (coming) of a new day. that day was too last forever, and still does. He that was born on that day continues to be born in the lives of men everywhere. bringing us a continual advent of Breakthroughs, and Birthing's. He is the God of the BREAKTHROUGH

I'm not waiting for the new year, because my New Day starts today. Thats my decree, I declare it as if God has said it, because he has given this promise to me. GOD IS MY GIFT of my miracle. Ill not reduce him to a child in a manger but elevate his to my GIFT. whatever he is to you he is to me. MY gift has come. wrapped up in flesh, that's the GIFT I want to unveil this Christmas. Christ in me the hope of Glory

Men Born in Zion

Remember the fire must be burning on the altar and it must never go out
“My fire shall not go out” (Lev 6:12,13).

And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her (Ps 87:5)

THIS MAN AND THAT MAN

I like how God points to a man.
Men in todays era don’t know they are men.
They don’t know their identity
They think they are but a number
But God calls man, a man!

This man and that man!
THE NEW BIRTH GIVES A MAN “IDENTITY”

The new birth gives a man an identity, sure we all like to identify ourselves and are indeed asked to identify ourselves by the date of our birth or the name of the place of our birth. They ask us this to help prove our identity.

I was born in Hartley, England. I have no connection to it, there than the fact I was born there. I’m told it is a cute and quaint place. I don’t know much about it I was placed into an orphanage and there i stayed for a couple of weeks until I was adopted by a welsh could who had waited unknowingly for over three years for a son. They had told the people at the orphanage that it had to be a son. O divine provision! talk about a reason to be born. I had no reason to be born but i was assigned to be adopted.

You may have told a friend about your son or daughter stating, "this one" was born in such and such a place, this one was born in that city. this one was born in that city. But my real testimony today is one of being born in Zion. God thought so much of you that he wanted you to himself. he as your heavenly father wanted one born in Zion a specific place, theres a reason for that, you had to be born here and not there because Zion is a royal place. It is gives a man certain rights as a heavenly citizen.

In Zion “men” are born, Only in Zion can men, fully grown men and women be born. Just like your heavenly father born king. no man is born king but this man!

God knows the reason why you were born here and not there in this city and not that city. O some of you wish you were born in America. others in Australia, but God said I’ll make your city like heaven called Zion, and while all men are born of flesh somewhere, only in Zion can "men" be born of God. With God’s blood and God’s DNA in them.

You may be born in a church house but that means nothing unless you are born of his spirit in Zion's house. For Zion is where young and old get born, where rich and poor men get born, where grandfathers and grandsons get born at the same time, where the celebrated and the hated get born. 

Only in Zion can an old man become a child again.
Only in Zion can a prisoner become a free man again.
Only in Zion can a heroin addict become a clean man again. 

Only in Zion can rich men dance with poor men. In all other institutions you have to reach a membership criteria that keeps some men in and keeps other men out only in Zion can black men and white men worship together around the same altar and seeking the same God. Singing the same song and reading the same book, praying at the same altar and singing the same song. Speaking in the same tongue, born of the same heavenly father, sharing the same name.

Names divide us especially at birth but not this name. the name of Jesus unites us. Whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The prophet said that all nations would flow to Zion (Isaiah 2:1-4) I don’t want to build a church that does not have what Zion has. There's no place on earth like Zion. 

My story, this one was born in Zion.

I was glad that I was born in Zion.

I got to choose where I was born. no other birthing gives a man that option. In fact no other bible book or belief gives a man that option. all men have to die in the state they are born. But this man! This man, I get to choose where I was born.

Secondly, No other man gets to remember how he was born but this man. this man remembers that day. the day my burdens role away and my night was turned to day. What a day t remember. It’s mad that no man remembers the day we were born we were not conscious of it the day we came forth from our mothers womb but this day.

I don’t know about you but Im looking forward to telling somebody who asks me where my new son or daughter was born, I’m looking forward to telling them, "this one was born in Zion today!"

What is this new birth?

It was Peter’s experience and Paul’s too. We share the same story and same glory. Our upbringing is similar. no wonder whats in them is in me and whats in then is in you. The same God and the same gospel, the same testimony. “Born of water and spirit” as Jesus said (John 3;5) It is the same birth for Jew and gentile, no different. No matter what colour or education level you are, the rules are the same and so is the testimony.

Except a man be born of water and spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven (John 3;5).

It is for the “whosoever” it is no different for you the it is for me. All have sinned and come short of God’s glory (Romans 10;9) All can be washed and born anew of God’s spirit. That’s the good news we can have the same spirit as Christ himself.

This birth gives a reason for our existence. Men come into this human world not knowing what they they born some cursing the day they were born others ignorant on the reason for their birth they lack purpose and direction. It’s hard to believe that a man can be born thirty, forty, fifty, sixty, years and more and never know the reason for his existence. How sad it is to miss the reason why you were born. but this man can declare like his father declared “for this reason was I born” For this reason came I into the world. when a man is born again he is given a reason as to why he chooses to give his life to Christ. he has come to the realisation that without Christ he is nobody. But in Christ, he is the called the separated, the redeemed the chosen. HE IS BORN FOR A PURPOSE. and knows it no other man can know it like you know it. what a man what a day what an event.

All other men are born blind. The man at the pool of SIloam was born blind. Jesus touched his eyes and told him to wash at the pool called Siloam. why Siloam? Solemn means “sent” The new man knows his reason for being born, he is one that is born to preach the gospel to all men and all tongues in all nations. Follow me said Jesus and i will make you fishers of men. he is a sent one and known it. smoother man knows his purpose as God’s man.

but This man, born of water and spirit he has washed in God’s pool and been cleaned by God’s blood, possessed by God’s spirit, called by God’s name. Made whole by God’s grace. Born into God’s family.

Until he washes at the rivers of pentecost he is blind, he still has mud on his eyes, the clay nature the unregenerate nature still rules, he is a mud man. Coming from mud and going back to it. But thank the Lord he is no longer mud but spirit re-created in his fathers image, a man!
